Whenever I try to access Xanga from China, the page does not load and comes up as "page not found". Meanwhile, it works just fine in the U.S. But in China I can’t even access Xanga through a proxy server. Why is this?

I live in China too, and according to http://www.chinalyst.net/node/13569:
"Well apparently things have flipped around and Xanga is now blocked."
So to answer your question, you can’t access Xanga in China because it’s blocked. But you can use proxy sites such as:
proxyfoxy.com
or go http://proxy.org/ to search up more proxies.
